jonradio became a radio fanatic on February 9, 1962, when he first heard CFUN in Vancouver, Canada. And first used a computer almost exactly 9 years later, in early 1971, while taking a First Year Mathematics course entitled Linear Programming at UBC in Vancouver. He quickly switched his major to Computer Science, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1974, the same year he did his last on-air Radio work.

At the beginning of 1975, jonradio moved to Edmonton. And he is still there today. You can see the downtown skyline pictured above.

jonradio reconnected with his Radio background and friends beginning in 1995, and retired from his computing career at the beginning of 2007. He now supports a number of mostly Radio-related web sites, all running WordPress, and gives back to the WordPress Community with a series of his own Open Source plugins, as well as participating in Beta testing WordPress, updating the WordPress Codex and answering (more than a thousand) questions asked in the WordPress Support forums.
